Whilst some of us are fortunate enough to be able to work from home and self-isolate to keep safe, our healthcare workers cannot. They are on the frontline putting their health and safety at risk.
Yesterday, we heard from one of our members that there isn’t enough parking at their hospital. With increased demands on the medical community, parking should be the very least of their problems.
Today, we decided to take action. We created an appeal for our community to look after each other by sharing parking spaces around hospitals and healthcare centres for FREE.
If you live nearby to a hospital or healthcare centre (within walking distance), we urge you to please make your parking space available for healthcare workers, and patients and list it for FREE ($0.00).
Whether that’s your driveway, garage, carport, or even your front lawn, anything that can comfortably fit a vehicle, please register below and let our healthcare community park for FREE.
Unfortunately, times like these can bring out the worst, but we are hopeful that it will bring out the best. As a community, we can each do our part to help and overcome this pandemic together.
