Parking in Randwick is becoming increasingly scarce. With the build of the light rail, most streets with parking are either blocked or dug up. If you are heading into the area or even Kingsford and Kensington, we recommend planning your parking in advance.
Metered parking near UNSW is $7.50 per hour and have 2 or 4 hour time limits.
UNSW and hospital staff can apply for parking permits at on-site car parks, however these permits are often limited.

On-campus parking at UNSW is free after 7:30pm (Monday to Friday) and on weekends or public holidays.
Alternatively, limited free street parking is available with 2 hour to 4 hour time limits or if you are willing to park more than a 10 minute walk away.
Driving is the easiest way to get to Randwick, however if driving is not an option, public transport is available.
If you are heading to the UNSW, you can catch the 891, 893 or 898 bus to campus from Central station. The wait in the bus line might take anywhere between 10 to 15 minutes. Make sure you budget this additional time into your journey.
